Roast Fillet Of Beef Is Fillet Of Beef Comparable To Eye Round Roast?

Is fillet of beef comparable to eye round roast? - roast fillet of beef

Or is it a completely different dish? I have a recipe that I will try is a British recipe that calls for beef steak (Wellington), namely beef. So, what is cut in the U.S.?

  2. Beef would be ..... Filet mignon or filet mignon. No, it is comparable with the eye of the round, not all. The steak is very tender, and you can almost melt in your mouth. The eye of the tower is round or rump .... much more difficult pieces of meat.

  3. Two completely different dishes. In the United States, is as fillet or loin. The eye of the tower is the "cycle" (rest or leg) and the sirloin is the section of coast.

  4. Sirloin steak or filet mignon. This cut is excellent and very tender, but very expensive where I live, $ 10 or more per pound. Not even trying to beef Wellington, with his eyes.
